Disco comes with a landing page editor for each course you run that is purpose-built to help you promote and showcase your live courses.
Public Page Editor Walkthrough:
Launching the Public Page Editor
To launch the landing page editor, navigate to your course and click "Landing Page" in the left nav. Then click the button "Landing Page Editor". You can also use an external landing page.
Previewing Your Page
You can click the preview icons to see what your page will look like on a variety of devices including mobile, tablet, and computers. Note that the preview will vary slightly from what you see in the Editor. For example, if you have not uploaded placeholder images, the actual Public Page will not display an empty spot where the image should be.
Making Changes
All changes that you make in the landing page editor are automatically saved, however, these will not be deployed to your live page. To deploy any changes you must click the blue "Publish" icon in the upper right.
Adding Content Blocks
You can add new content blocks by hovering in-between content sections and clicking on the blue "+" icon.
Content Block Styles
There are a variety of different content blocks depending on your use case. Soon we will introduce functionality for custom HTML blocks.
Public Page SEO
You can update the Meta Title, Meta Description, and Social Share Image by navigating to your course and clicking "Settings" in your left naviagtion and then "Public Page".
