Assigning a Product or Pathway to Groups and Members

What this does

You'll directly assign Products or Pathways to specific groups or members. Assigned members automatically bypass registration requirements like payment, applications, capacity, and registration status, and will be added directly to the Products or Pathways.

What to know first

  • Admin access required
  • Takes about five minutes
  • Members can be assigned to Products and Pathways
  • Community admins and owners can only be assigned to Products (not Pathways)

How to Assign a Product/Pathway to Group and/or Members

From the Product or Pathway

  1. Navigate to the Product or Pathway you want to assign.
  2. Click the 3-dot icon in the left navigation or top header.
  3. Select Settings, then the Members tab.
  4. Click Add Members and select Assign.
  5. In the assign modal, choose the groups or members you want to assign.
    • Assigning a Product to a group assigns all current group members.
    • Future group members must be assigned individually after they join.
    • Pathways can only be assigned to members, not community admins or owners.
  6. Click Assign Program or Assign Pathway.

Note: Assignments process in the background. You can close the modal, we'll notify you when it’s done.

From the Admin Members Management

  1. Navigate to the Admin area and click the Members tab.
  2. Select one or multiple members from the table.
    • Use group filters for quick group selection.
  3. On the bottom popup bar, click the Assign icon and select Assign to Program/Pathway.
  4. Choose the Program or Pathway you want to assign.
  5. Click Assign Program.

Common questions

Will Members be notified when they are assigned to a Program or Pathway?
Yes, Members will receive an email notification and an in-app notification when they are assigned. Assigned Programs or Pathways will then appear in their Explore page and left navigation.
