About This Feature
The Custom Page app allows admins to create custom pages for various purposes, such as branded welcome pages, community hubs, leaderboards, and merchandising areas.
How It Works
The Custom Page app is designed to be fully customizable, providing a unique experience that aligns with your community's specific needs and interests. Admins can set access to define which members or groups of members can see the app, and select the page layout with 1-column or 2-column format.
Customization is achieved through blocks, which can be added, removed, and rearranged to create a layout that best serves the purpose of your community. These blocks can include various content types, such as welcome messages, leaderboards, featured products, and upcoming events.
Standard Blocks Available:
- Community Details: Welcome members to your community and communicate the offering.
- Members: Prompts social connections with other members.
- Leaderboard: Shows a leaderboard based on members engagement score.
- Rich Text: Custom block with our Rich Text Editor.
- Featured Products: Spotlights Products selected
- Featured Memberships: Spotlights memberships of your community
- Content: Embed existing content inline.
Personalized Blocks Available:
- Hero Banner: display a banner with custom background (image or solid color) and a welcome message option. The Hero block is always the first block on the page.
- This Hero Banner block will always expand to fill the entire screen, regardless of the layout column selected.
- If the 2-column layout is chosen, the 2-column structure will only apply to the content below this Hero Banner block.
- Jump Back In: displays all incomplete courses that have a curriculum, helping users resume their learning journey:
- Students see their enrolled, incomplete courses
- Admins see all their incomplete course enrollments
- Selecting a course automatically redirects you to the curriculum page and expands your last accessed module.
- Recently Viewed: tracks and displays content you've accessed across Products and Collections:
- Content appears after being viewed for at least 3 seconds
- Includes materials from courses, collections, and other learning resources
- Posts: highlights the latest posts from across all other feeds in your community.
- In 2-column layout: When the Posts block is in the middle column, it could be in the carousel or scroll format. When the Posts block is in the side column, it’ll ONLY be in the carousel format.
- In 1-column layout: Posts block will ONLY be supported in carousel format.
- Events: Highlight the most recent and upcoming events
