About This Feature
Use Learning Pathways to create structured learning experiences for members, guiding them through a clear sequence of Learning Products. Learning Pathways ensure your members progress in the correct order, meet prerequisite requirements, and achieve their learning goals efficiently.
How It Works
Members can access Learning Pathways through the Explore section.
Admins can manage pathways by navigating to Admin Area > Products > Pathways.
Pathway Creation: Similar to how a curriculum is organized by Modules and Content, a learning pathway is structured by Pathway Groups and Products.
- A Pathway Group is a collection of Products with the exact access requirements.
- The first Pathway Group gives members immediate access to all its products. Members must complete the previous group before advancing to the next for subsequent groups.
- The order of Products within a Pathway Group is suggested but not mandatory.
- Only Products with a Curriculum App and no fixed duration can be added to a pathway.
- Admins can control visibility and registration for a Pathway:
- Public: Anyone on the internet can see and register for the Pathway.
- Members Only: All Community Members can see and register from the Explore tab.
- Hidden: The Pathway is completely hidden from the Explore page.
Pathway Completion
- All Products in a Pathway must have a Curriculum App. A Product is considered complete when 100% of its curriculum is finished.
- Events and resource Collections do not count toward Product completion.
- Products within a Pathway Group can be completed in any order.
- Members must complete all Products in one Pathway Group before advancing to the next.
- A Pathway is completed only when the final Pathway Group is completed. A Pathway Group is considered complete when all products within it are completed.
Pathway Status
- A pathway can only be published when all Products within it are published.
- Published pathways can’t be reverted to draft.
Pathway Registration:
- Upon registering for a Pathway, members gain immediate access to all Products within the first Pathway Group.
- When registering through a Pathway, Members bypass all product registration requirements, including access restrictions (Members Only, Invite Only), applications, capacity limits, and pricing.
Important Considerations
- Certificates can be issued for individual Learning Products and upon Pathway completion.
- Completing the final Pathway Group also means Pathway completion, and if enabled, Pathway certificates will be issued.
- We currently support Free Pathways. Charging payments for Pathways is not currently available, but coming soon!
