What this does

You’ll create structured learning experiences that guide members through a clear sequence of products so they can progress in the right order and reach their learning goals.

What to know first

  • Admin access required
  • Only products with a curriculum and no fixed duration can be added
  • A pathway can only be published when all products in it are published
  • Published pathways can’t be reverted to draft

How to create and manage a learning pathway

  1. Go to Admin Area > Products > Pathways.
  2. Select Create Pathway.
  3. Add Pathway Groups. A pathway group is a collection of products with the same access requirements.
The first group gives members immediate access to all its products.
    • Members must complete all products in one group before moving to the next.
    • Products inside a group can be completed in any order.
  4. Add products to each group. Only products with a curriculum and no fixed duration can be included.
  5. Choose pathway visibility under Pathway Settings > Access:
    • Public: Anyone can see and register.
    • All Members: Only community members can see and register.
    • Private: Only specific Members or groups can enrol in this Program through the registration page.
    • Invite Only: Pathway won’t appear on Explore and new registrations are blocked.
  6. Publish the pathway. Members who register gain instant access to all products in the first group.
    • Registration through a pathway bypasses product-level requirements like access restrictions, applications, capacity limits, and pricing.

That’s it, you’ve set up your pathway!

How pathway completion works

  • A product is complete when 100% of its curriculum is finished.
  • Events and resource collections don’t count toward completion.
  • A pathway group is complete when all its products are complete.
  • A pathway is complete only when the final pathway group is finished.
  • Certificates can be issued for individual products and for the full pathway if set up.
