How It Works
When you create a new product that uses the curriculum app, you’ll have the option to use DiscoAI to generate a curriculum. Select this option, and provide a prompt that outlines the course details, such as the topic, structure, and type of content you’d like. You can import references from within Disco or link to external content. DiscoAI will use this information to generate a tailored course curriculum.
How To Create Curriculum with Disco AI
Start with a new Learning Product that includes the Curriculum App but has no existing content. Here’s how:
- Navigate to the “Learning” tab in your Disco workspace.
- Create a new Product by selecting the “+ Add Product” button in the top right of the screen.
- Tip: We recommend using either the Cohort-Based Course or Self-Paced Course template for curriculum generation for ease.
- Navigate to the Curriculum app within your Product via the left-hand navigation.
- Click “Generate Curriculum with AI”
- Provide detailed instructions for the AI, such as:
- The course title, topics, and structure.
- Upload or link to the content that should be referenced. This can include multimedia files like PDFs, videos, and links.
- Choose whether the AI should search the web for additional resources or only use the materials you provided.
- Click “Generate” and allow a few minutes for the AI to create the curriculum.
- Review the generated content and make any necessary adjustments before publishing your course.
