About This Feature

Product Reports allow you to track individual member progress and activity and the overall aggregate activity across a product. Product Admins (Managers and Instructors) must ensure that members are not only consuming content but also actively participating and progressing at an expected pace to improve the experience.

How It Works

Progress Reports in Disco can be accessed through the Admin > Insights area or by selecting the “insights” icon at the top right navigation bar from within a Product. Once in, the report will showcase various reports based on the Apps added to that Product. The tabs for a Product Report are:

  • Overview: This provides an overview of high-level product stats like total earned revenue, number of registered members, active members, and average engagement score. It also shows reports for engagement scores and active members.
  • Member Progress: This section details the member's progress and activity in a Product. It includes metrics like the total percentage of members who have started the curriculum, the average curriculum progress, and the percentage of members who have completed the curriculum. It also shows a detailed member progress report, which outlines individual members' engagement, curriculum completion, attendance, comments, and last active.
  • Content: This shows the engagement with content, including metrics like the number of content items created, the percentage of total content viewed, and reporting tables for individual content with their completion and views.
  • Events: Reports on engagement with events, including metrics like the total number of events hosted, the percentage of members who have confirmed attendance, and the percentage of members who, on average, attended. It also includes a detailed event report of all events, including the number of attendees, confirmed attendees, date, and start time.
  • Discussions: Reports on members' engagement within Feeds and Channels, showing the total messages sent, top channel contributors, total posts sent, comments sent, reactions and top feed contributors.

How To Access Product Reports

From within a Product Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the product where you wish to see product reports.
  2. Select the overflow icon > Select ‘Reports’ from the drop-down menu or select the ‘Reports’ button in the top navigation bar.

From Anywhere Else

  1. Navigate to the ‘Admin’ area.
  2. Select the ‘Insights’ > ‘Product’ from the drop down menu or select the ‘Reports’ button in the top navigation bar.

Product Reports filtering by Sub-groups

Admins can filter product reports by sub-groups. When filtered by multiple sub-groups, the results will show Members who belong to any of the selected groups, not just those in both. When a filter is applied, all statistics in the report will reflect the selected sub-group(s).
